North High School Students in Central Park

North High School visited New York on a fashion trip April 17-21. We booked the trip through Junior tours and they did a very nice job. Here is a photo of the group in Central Park. We were there on our 4th day and we had a tough time getting the Minnesota kids out of nature after spending so much time in the cement world. Jane Hinrichsen

Regional Conference

The regional conference was a great success.

We spoke of our history and past and reflected on it's importance as we approach a bright future.

I hope that those of you that were not able to attend will be able to journey to Milwaukee for the AAFCS national conference. I think that we will see a well planned and put together conference it would be a shame to miss one when it is so close.

I am proud to be a part of a great state where we celebrated our past with great leaders of the present like Donna Butterfield our Minnesota FACS teacher of the year. Donna presented her 7th grade class focusing on the service learning project modifying clothing for injured military members.
